I've had similar issues with it recalculating because it has a poor position. But it's pretty rare.

I can live without it since I like the interface of Garmin A LOT more than iGuidance. Hopefully Garmin will release TTS soon though.

Just a little update to this thread. I traveled about 2000 miles the other week and I had Garmin Mobile XT running the whole time along with a Garmin Nuvi 350. Both had me go on the exact same routes. If I went off route, they both recalculated at about the same rate.

I still wish Mobile XT had TTS, that was really the only downside.

It never lost GPS reception, even in the trees and sticks in Alabama and Missouri.

Took a trip down to Pittsburgh last weekend from Niagara Falls. I used TT7 to navigate. Worked perfectly all the way down except when entering the downtown area. I guess cause of all the tall buildings, the gps went all wacky as soon as I was downtown looking for my hotel.
