updated rom help

Hey guys I am really looking for an updated rom that will give me the basics, wm 6.1, rev A, and gps, I have read several info in diffrent threads however I would like also some opinions on which one will be most dependable & not give alot of problems, I have no clue on how to do this & have been scared to try it but i think im ready to make that move & reap some of the benefits everyone else has been experiencing, thanks in advance

There are many good ways to start but if u jsut want the basic my opinion would be to flash the MFG 2.31 unlocker form imcokeman and then jsut flash the enw leaked sprint rom...thats about as basic as u get with rev a and gps

Thanks spencer for your info and i dont want to be a pain but i really need like a step by step so i dont screw this thing up, could you help with that or give me some kinda of link

This is how I cooked mine. There are a lot of options, but if you are willing to spend a little time you can find a good fit of programs.

so if i use a stockish rom, then little programs that i have on memory card will no longer be able to use?

Basically all programs still work, 6.1 is more of an update, not a new version of windows (think service pack with more features).

one last question, do you have to use active sync for this to work
