Switching Keyboard

I am running dharvey4651's custom and am having the following problem. When I am composing a text message, it takes me up to 5 seconds just to switch the kind of keyboard I want (Full qwerty, Touch Keyboad, etc..) Anyone have this problem? Any solutions? I've tried searching all over but have found no answer. I recall the switching keyboard function snappier in other ROMS and OEM rom. TIA!

try goin to the touchpal sip found in settings, if its there and change the timing thing to like 0 or somethin.. hopefully that will change the amount of seconds that it takes for it to pop up

go post in dharvey's thread (where you got the rom from) an see if you can find an answer from some of the users there.. im not running his rom

Which ROM are you running and how long does it take your keyboard selection to come up?

im on OMJ's v2 rom, an it pops up jus fine for me, with no lag or wait time

Use the ROM thread, he's more likely to read it and have an answer for you
