Editing \SYS in a ROM

Hey all,
I've been trying to search around to increase my cooking knowledge... I'm trying to make a very barebones ROM with no apps/services/drivers I don't use. I am having trouble figuring out what each folder in the \SYS is for. Is there any list or document around that explains which app\drivers corresponds with the folder in \SYS? Some, like irDA and bluetooth are pretty self explanatory, but others don't seem to be...

All I can recommend is do not touch SYS folder. You might want to venture into the OEM folder that's where all the extra stuff is. If you do not know much about SYS, you will more likely mess it up!
