Is there anyway to remove the clock from the home screen while leaving the other short cut buttons to email, text and call history?

I'm not sure that is possible. Something you could try (if you don't mind possibly messing up your HTC Home plugin) is delete these files in your Windows folder:
HH_HOME_0.png, HH_HOME_1.png, HH_HOME_2.png, HH_HOME_3.png, HH_HOME_4.png, HH_HOME_5.png, HH_HOME_6.png, HH_HOME_7.png, HH_HOME_8.png, HH_HOME_9.png

These are the image files for the numbers on the clock. Who knows what would happen without them?

If it's not possible how about seperate icon buttons for the three shortcuts (email. text, phone history). I use SPB PocketPlus with no tabs just shortcuts and would love to have those three shortcuts, with notifications, available on desktop screen.

email path is "\Windows\tmail.exe"

text message path is "\Windows\tmail.exe -service "SMS""

don't know how to get to call history. maybe sombody else knows?

RL Today uses customizable XML files. They're all pretty easy to change.

Any further updates to this? I hate that huge clock taking up so much space, but I want all of the other HTC Today buttons. A smaller/shorter clock would be fine, but I can't find anywhere to even change the size.

u can use the sprint home plugin by customizing your icons and the xml file

ive searched everywhere for the shortcut to the missed call history, i dont think u can find that one, anyways, why not just remove the htc home screen completely and customize your own with RLtoday
