phone constantly switching in and out of roam

I did the htc update for alltel touch and now my phone is constantly switching in and out of roam everything works but this is annoying keeps warning me about charges in roaming blah blah blah ... anyway anybody get this problem too and if so did you fix it and how did you do it .... thanx

2 things i suggest, first is a PRL update, if you call sprint and tell them to update your PRL update they will go thru the steps with u.

the second is the long way that will most likely suck, but i had a similar problem to this where i did a rom update and my phone constantly dropped calls, i even switched back to the original ROM and still had the same problem

try switching back to the original rom, or even the new leaked sprint rom and see how the service is.

you may need to get a replacement

ok but im on alltel and i did *228 and got there prl still didnt work i can make and recieve calls just fine its just always switching and those warning boxes are driving me crazy

yea best bet now is to try to switch to a different rom, if problems persist go back to the original ROM, if they STILL persist, go get it looked at...

I'm on Alltel and when I updated to the latest stock ROM I noticed that it set my Home SID to "1" instead of "1372" like it was supposed to be. I went into the EPST and made the change and it fixed the problem I was having with the 'roaming' issue. Hope this helps your situation.

on alltel its ##778 then 000000 for the password , ill check mine and see what it is

nogo on changeing it to 1372 it still goes in and out of roam

The "1372" change did not fix it for me either

Ok i saw this in the 6800 forum and it seems to have worked dial *228 option 3 (activate your phone) and it will program some stuff and then reboot
I did this and it is now in home network when it should be and no blinking roam when im in my home area thanx for help guys
