is there any way to enable the gps in the verizon xv6900 without installing the sprint or alltel's roms ???????????

thanks...now my second stupid question...is there a rom update for the verizon xv6900 that will enable the gps... or will i have to try and install either the sprint or alltel roms ???????

Have to use sprint or alltel, in fact if they ever come out with the Verizon Official it wouldn't shock me if they try to disable the GPS knowing them!

Haha, yeah, never expect Verizon to fully unlock a GPS. I think they've proven this very well with their Blackberry line that will only unlock for VZW Navigator for $9.99 and now is the same with the Q9C.
