Re: Known Verizon Issue with cracked outer casing

Right above the camera button a really small crack appeared recently.
It doesn't go all the way to the screen, just from the chrome to the edge.

My XV6900 is less than 3 months old.
I hope nothing else happens

Re: Known Verizon Issue with cracked outer casing

Dont freak it is only the white outer casing that cracks and you will probably get some more. You can turn it back into vzw within 12 months after purchase for a refurb phone (which will prob crack also). Im on my third and its cracked in two spots. I'll send it back before the 12 months.

Re: Known Verizon Issue with cracked outer casing

HOLY COW! A SPRINT case cracking??? WOW! That makes the ratio what, 1:1000 Sprint to Verizon in THIS THREAD ALONE? LOL!

Honestly guys, I loved my XV6900, but I have ZERO regrets going to the Verizon Touch Pro after flashing with the SSK 1.5 rom!

Re: Known Verizon Issue with cracked outer casing

coming up this thursday will be my 3rd 6900 free of charge because of multiple cracking.. and i dont pay insurance. all i did was call tech support and tell them that about how it is cracking and that i have kept it in a case(not completely honest but..) and they are sending me a replacement within 2 days.

Re: Known Verizon Issue with cracked outer casing

You can buy a replacement case from E-bay for around $18.00 and replace it yourself, here is a link to show how to do it.

Might be better than all the Hassle, if you have a custom Rom. or something else you don't want to load again . I've had my 6900 for
1 1/2 yrs, had the case completely off, painted it black and back together with no problems or no cracks
