Nope, the have solar panels that would fit nicely on the back of the 6900, and would offer FULL output that our AC/car charger has.

Roughly 5-6 volts, and offering up to 150mA

I saw one such panel that was 50cm X 50cm. That could easily be embedded into the back of the STOCK cover, if there was any room between the battery and the cover... but realistically, you would need the extended cover...

I think I might just have to do this...

why would you put a solar panel INSIDE between the battery and cover? Doesn't it need light/solar energy?

Imagine the sunroof mechansim for an automobile. The only thing you see externally is the glass that fills the hole in the roof. The tracks, wires, motors and other components are hidden from exterior view.

While there wouldn't be any moving parts, a solor panel would be installed in a similar manner, with all of the wiring, etc hidden in-between the battery and the cover and the solor panels would be exposed to the back of the phone, through a hole.

At least, that is my take on it ...

Best regards,
-boggsie

OOOO... talkin bout the parts BESIDES the panel itself... i feel ya... still a long shot... my mugens all good... plus, if there's a possibilty a motorola charger could harm an htc battery (i've heard this, but its only a possibility), what do you think a ghetto rigged solar trickle charger would do, ya know?

PS this topic took quite the experimental shift lol

Re: 2400 mAh Extended Battery- $11.99

Had my oem htc battery a week now and it's holding a charge well. Found another case for it today at best buy. The touch is a little short height wise, but it's a htc case that looks like the one that came with it. once it's closed, the touch is not coming out.

If it isn't too much trouble, could you be persuaded to take some pictures of both cases beside one-another in both open and closed positions and finally, with the phone inserted?

Thank you ...
