Re: The Best Bluetooth device for the Touch......
I'm using the Plantronics Discovery 655. Good sound and reliable performance, what more do ya want.

Re: The Best Bluetooth device for the Touch......
One more vote for the Z9.
I have tried the Jawbone, Jabra, Plantronics, and a couple of different Motorola ones and they all have a LONG way to go before being able to be in the same class as the Z9. Simple design, superb sound on both ends, and great battery life. You can even upgrade the firmware on this headset! I'll never use another one!

Re: The Best Bluetooth device for the Touch......
I'm still using an old Moto H700, the first model with noise cancellation. I love it, but I know it's just a matter of time till I need a new one. Thanks for the review. I was actually thinking about a jawbone.

Re: The Best Bluetooth device for the Touch......
I use the plantronics 855 for stereo and walking around, but the motorola bt505 is the greatest accessory i have purchased. the fm transmitter sends all audio through my factory stereo and it is awesome. make sure to search multiple frequencies to get a clean signal and you are set. when using slide2play the music pauses and restarts when a call is received and ended.

Quote:
1) Jawbone. Wasn't loud enough - too bulky, ear loops kept breaking in my pocket. It finally died just out of warranty. 2) Z9. Barely loud enough. Didn't like the earloop fit. Didn't like the "interface" - button presses for functions were hard to remember. Lost it about a week ago. 3) Moto h710. Love this one. loud - no in-ear earpiece so it's comfortable for long periods. Easiest to turn on and know it's on - just flip open the mic. No button to press to turn it on. Best part is, you can keep it off in your pocket. If someone calls, flip open the mic and it connects in 2 seconds to your phone. I never really asked how I sounded on the other end on any of these headsets. I know the Jawbone was supposed to have the best noise cancelling but it was too bulky and difficult to control for me. |
