VX6900 Camera Phone Wont Save to Storage Card

I'm using a 512mb storage card in my Touch. When I take pictures with the camera when its in "save to storage card" mode, they dont show up in the album or anywhere on the card. No error messages when I take a picture. If i change it back to save to phone, they work. I have other programs on the card and can read it in explorer just fine. Any ideas / suggestions?

I just started having the same problem with my Touch. It won't let me save any pictures or videos to the storage card either, can you save video?
When I was in the video, my phone also said "new storage card found" a few times. So I'm guessing that either the card is bad or the port on the phone is going bad?
I don't know yet.

Nope, cant save video either. I get the message "Unable to start recording video. Unable to create video file" And this phone is less than a month old. Card had no problem on my other phone. Is there a formatting function for the card built into the phone? I would try this out but havent been able to find one in the built in software...

No there isn't anything with formatting. I used to be able to record video and store pictures on the card, so maybe it seems that it has to do with the port not functioning for the card.
I can't believe no one else is having these same problems.

I am also having this trouble on the 6800. Answers to no avail. Might just have to call call tech support if htc has one.

I had this problem when I took my card from my previous phone. The XV6900 was saving to a folder called DCIM which had been created by my other phone. None of my pictures showed up and none I took appeared in the album. Just on a hunch I changed the folder name on the card and took another picture. The XV6900 created a new DCIM folder and my picture was there.

This is actually a very common problem on the Touch. Either it doesnt save at all or one day you open it up and all of your pics are gone.

I had forgotten that I renamed the folders to be more centralized without realizing this. Thanks to "redkos" for the reminder. All is well now
