Best GPS Apps
Ok,
I am using JD's 1st GPS (gpstest2.1)ROM. If I use GPS Viewer first, I have great luck getting GPS with Google Maps. However, there is a program called GPS Today 095 that is fantastic! I like it MUCH better than GPS Viewer and it functions the same way (as a GPS locator/primer) with some extra benefits. Check it out! Best thing of all, it's free! I'm also using TomTom6 which works flawlessly. And I know you can find regged copies on several torrent sites (one Swedish site in particular - wink). Please post any other excellent GPS programs that utilize our new found capabilities! Cheers, DJ |

Do you have a link to the cab file you're using? DJ |

Re: Best GPS Apps
here is the cab for sprint navigation, you have to have this under your plan to work, its included in the $30/month plan. works pretty good for me, once i get the gps to lock.

@ deegimius....yes I have the $30 powervision plan with unlimited navigation. I spoke with a sprint representative, and as long as you have the sprint navigation software, and NOT TeleNav HTC Touch vogue software, it should be covered in your plan. You can download it from the file above. Hope that helps.

Ok, that's what I thought. I'm not paying those &$%*@##s an extra $15/month just for Sprint Nav. TomTom6 works great and it's free! I tried Nav4All and it is quirky and the audio is garbled and distorted. Thanks for letting me know. DJ Last edited by deegimus; 05-02-2008 at 12:59 AM. |

Re: Best GPS Apps
My vote is for Garmin as well, I was an avid TomTom user, but with the priming issue I switched to Garmin. No need to prime the GPS with Garmin mobile xt.
