question about touch's connection

hey guys I just bought a charging cradle off ebay. the plug on it is a normal mini usb not the typical htc plug so I have to check. the cradle I bought said it was for the elf does the elf use mini usb to charge? or does it have the normal htc variant

sry I relize this is not a vouge question but I own vouge :P

You can use a miniusb to charge your phone so I am not sure I see the issue or the question. The Htc plug simply adds stereo audio out to the usb which you wouldn't need in your charging cradle anyways

Even though the Vouge has a different USB connector, the Elf's Mini USB should work no problem. I use a normal Mini USB to connect my Touch to my computer, and have no problems. The Vogue's USB connector is actually LARGER in the top-right corner, so you will have no issues with connecting.

the problem is that since the charging cradle has the mini usb and not the htc plug the phone wont sit in it if I wanted to use converters and cables I wouldn't have bought a dock

well thanks for the answers guys, it took some jimmying but I got it to sit in there

I had no idea a normal mini usb would work in there
