Re: Where is the password stored? What file?
I'd ask the makers: http://www.spbsoftwarehouse.com/prod...estion.html?en

Re: Where is the password stored? What file?
Yeah, I will. I dont need a SPB password though, its the Sprint Touch keypad lock that I need. None of the numbers that I used to use will work. When you lock your touch, that lock code must be stored somewhere in the registry or something. I have access to all those files on my laptop, but I dont know where it would be stored.

Yeah, I don't think anybody here is gonna help you, just in case it's not actually your Touch.

Re: Where is the password stored? What file?
even if you did manage to find the file it was store in, it's encrypted so good luck trying to decrypt it.
i suggest you call sprint if in fact it's your phone, which i doubt.. people don't normally forget such password... |

Re: Where is the password stored? What file?
He has access to all the files on his laptop. I doubt he stole the phone.
Anyway, you'll probably have to hard reset. There is virtually NO WAY to break the WM password system because it is so simple. You have what you need already backed up on your laptop, right?!

Re: Where is the password stored? What file?
I was trying a backup to see if a program was effing up my touch screen that was being erratic and off calibration every 20 minutes. It didnt help and I never did figure out the password. Yes it was my phone. I had all the backup files exploded on my laptop but I coudnt find where the password was stored.
Long story short I took it back to sprint and they replaced it due to the touch screen whacky calibration issue.....with a refurb of course. ![]() |
