Is it normal to always reset to use GPS?

Hello pals,

I'm with Telus but have the Alltel Rom in order to enable GPS.

When I use the GPS, and then close it, I always have to reset my vogue in order to use it again because it won't connect.

I use an application called "GPS test" to verify, and the first time it's fine. but the second time without resetting sometimes it doesnt sees any signal from GPS.

any ideas ?

btw: port 4 , baud rate 4800

search the vogue stickies, this has been discussed many many times before.

short answer there is a standby problem with the hacked GPS.

They are working on fixes

I don't have any stand-by issues any longer with the leaked Sprint ROM or building something with the 3.02 ppckitchen. You may want to check it out.
