Note that pictures already uploaded before you changed the setting will not show up, only pictures uploaded AFTER you changed the setting will.

Thanks.
I just tried that and re uploaded a picture I took while using your program. It is doing the same thing. I see the pic, but no map option like my old Nokias did. I can hit on more properties and see the lat and lon info, but it is not placing it on my map...

Any ideas?

EDIT: Never mind.. It worked on the second upload. Not sure what happened, but it is showing up now.

Awesome! Everytime my Today screen reloads, (happens a lot, especially with the latest version of Opera Mobile,) GPSToday seems to restart... 'forgetting' that I want to geotag pictures...

Re: Is there a Geotagging app for the Touch camera?

I have tried www.itookthisonmyphone.com and it seems to work ok. It stores the pics online and gives you the ability to have a online picture mail app.

Re: Is there a Geotagging app for the Touch camera?

sleepyz, ScrapMaker,
We have just released version 0.9.8.1 of GPSToday.

1) It automatically restarts the GeoTagger if it was installed and running in automatic mode before a soft-reset or today-screen reload.

2) Instead of street address, you can now save latitude/longitude/altitude to contacts in your address book. Great for saving specific locations "out in the wild".

3) Now find points on the map by specifying latitude/longitude.

4) VGA Support!

Download at http://m.geoterrestrial.com/

You do not need to upgrade the geotagger, only GPSToday.

Thanks!

gpstoday...

any plans or ideas about incorporating a save a trail feature, and/or keep track of stats like average speed, distance from a point etc.
and the ability to export as kml or kmz etc...?

i love this app and would like it to be even more full-featured than it already is.

thanks

gbenj,

GeoTerrestrial GeoTrail is already in the works. This is by far the most requested feature since day one by numerous users in forums and emails, and we will not disappoint. Tentative plan is to release within two weeks from today.

GeoTerrestrial GeoSocial (name might change, but you get the idea) will follow soon thereafter.

Thanks

Re: Is there a Geotagging app for the Touch camera?

Man, all these new updates are making me want to install this back on my phone.

GPSToday, I have a few requests.

First off, do you think you guys would add a weather feature to your program? One always neat feature of Windows Live has been getting weather conditions for your current GPS location. Would LOVE to see this in GPSToday.

Also, do you guys plan to improve the search feature in your mapping program? I assume you will when you put navigation in the maps because right now it's kinda messy to use compared to say, Google Maps.

I'd really like to have this program as my only GPS program (other than iGo for doing quick searches and looking up weather when I'm in another area.
