I'm not sure what you guys are using to see what's going on with your GPS, but I highly recommend GPSInfo if you haven't tried it. You can get it here: http://discussion.buygpsnow.com/file...entry5939.aspx

I did not allow customizations to run, as I'm on Verizon. Nor did I have to (or want to) run PPST.exe. I also had to manually set GPSMode=4 in the registry (on initial setup).

So it appears this is not a carrier issue at least.

Remember the Cab just installs PPST.exe you still have to manually run it after installing.
