Re: Sprite back up will not work after I Flashed the sprint leaked ROM
i think you need to flash back to the stock rom, download pimbackup, backup your contacts so you dont have to pay for the wireless backup thing

You cannot restore to a different ROM. But you can restore individual files if you use the Sprite Explorer desktop app.

Sprite backup has another program to do your contacts. I think it is Sprite Archie.

Re: Sprite back up will not work after I Flashed the sprint leaked ROM
Ok, I figured it out. First, I dont use outlook so I didnt have that option, although, I will be installing it now.
I was able to extract the pim.vol file out of the sprite backup using Sprite explorer and renamed it pim1.vol. Then using Total Comander I copied it to the windows directory on the phone then changed the name of the pim.vol on the phone to pim.old and renamed pim1.vol back to pim.vol. After renaming the files I was able to delete the rom pim.vol. I did a soft reset and all my contacts where there. I spent hours trying to find a fix for this and was pretty shocked when this worked. |
