Phone codes working in the kitchen?

I cooked up a 3.02 ROM and checked phone codes (only other thing checked in 'Phone' was the HTC DualTouchDialer), ##778# doesn't work.

Am I doing something wrong?

I'm just using the default. I didn't add any dialers in from the Kitchen.

Re: Phone codes working in the kitchen?

I just replaced my kitchen rom with JD's latest, but if IRC the "phone codes" option doesn't actually mean that the codes will work from the dialer, especially if you're using a dialer skin. The option actually places a folder in the Programs folder, I think it's named Phone Codes. In the folder will be direct links that execute each of the codes.

Re: Phone codes working in the kitchen?

I just realized this is a somewhat dated post i found while searching.

I'm wondering if there is a cab that will create the phone code shortcuts for me, like the ones that get installed from the kitchen when you check that option. I realize I can create my own shortcuts, but I though this would save me some time. If not, does anyone have a list of all the possible phone codes? I've already replaced my kitchen rom with one that doesn't include them so I can't go back to view them. This is for Sprint BTW. TIA!
