Re: MAY 08, POLL! Best Mobile Browser
I agree. Skyfire, not that good. I got the text last week to download it to my Mogul. So far, not that good. It will not work with my company's online email site. It will not allow me to log in. I switch to Opera 9.5, no problems. So for me, Opera 9.5. It just works...

Re: MAY 08, POLL! Best Mobile Browser
Minimo was OK, but is a dead-end per Mozilla. It hasn't seen development in a year, and is an experiment which has ended.

Re: MAY 08, POLL! Best Mobile Browser
Another thing that makes this poll incomplete is the difference in setup's and even hardware. If there wasn't a memory constraint with my current setup then I would likely be on the the Opera9.5 bandwagon, as speed isn't much of an issue anymore since RevA.
With memory constraints OperaMini is a clear winner when it comes to memory intensive webpages.

Re: MAY 08, POLL! Best Mobile Browser
im liking sky fire-switched to it from opera mobile due to flash mainly. I tried opera 9 when it just came out and it was extremely buggy...

Re: MAY 08, POLL! Best Mobile Browser
I voted for Opera Mobile 9.5 (or 9.4-whatever beta)...
It is the best browsing experience I have had on my Touch... I have also tried PIE, Netfront, Opera Mobile 8.x, and Minimo... Minimo just didn't quite *do it* for me... Opera Mini is nice and fast but I appreciate the more all around browsing experience that Opera Mobile provides...

Re: MAY 08, POLL! Best Mobile Browser
i signed up for the skyfire 2 beta but i guess ill be waitin quite a while till i get it lol, but im gettin mixed reviews on it so i dont know if to get my hopes up or not
no offence to opera mini users but i dont understand why pple use oprea mini over mobile, i understand the speed thing but mobile load pages way better (my opinion of course) and franklly it dnt meet my ppc expectations, where are the braggin rights if you have the same browser in your mogul that your buddy has on his rumor?? lol just my two cents, no disrespect |
