Which Touch Rev.A & GPS ROM to use?

I see Alltel this and official leaked that. I'm a bit lost on which cooked ROM to go with. What are the pluses and minuses of each? Are any of them working "flawlessly"? I hear of GPS not getting satellite locks, keyboards not displaying properly, and WM6.1 randomly freezing. Of course, I would like to avoid these and run the ROM that works the best right now

I'd suggest that, if you are a Sprint customer, go with the leaked upgrade from Sprint, which includes a new radio.

Check out the stickies.

Re: Which Touch Rev.A & GPS ROM to use?

I'd wait a day or so for the kitchen just posted to be tested by the masses. By then I'm sure you'll see new ROMs based off it. If you want something right now, OMJ's test rom seems to get the thumbs up from most people for GPS use, and pretty much any of the others are good but have a little less GPS stability.

Or you could do as Boggsie suggests...but you'll need to update a GPS file (virser_gps.dll) manually.

Re: Which Touch Rev.A & GPS ROM to use?

Thanks guys! Yeah, I do recall the leaked test ROM having GPS issues, but a fix was posted later in the thread. I'll take a look at both that one and OMJ's and go from there. Any more insight is of course welcome and appreciated.
