Need help with Garmin Mobile XT

I got Garmin Mobile XT and I'm trying to use it with JD's ROM with GPS/Rev A, but it won't work. It keeps looking for a bluetooth receiver, which I don't have. If I use the GPS Viewer app along with Google Maps, GPS works fine, but I can't get Garmin to work.

Does anyone know how to fix this?

Mine is set to "Use Serial GPS" on COM4:COM4. Works great until my device goes to sleep and I lose GPS connection

I don't have that setting when I go to the Remote GPS section in settings. Do I need to download updates or something?

Is it registered? If its not registered it will only connect to a external bluetooth GPS. Once its registered you can change it to com # or intermediate driver.

Where do you register. I tried garmin.com but does not have garmin xt mobile.

I got a message and it says connection allowed to Garmin GPS device only. Could anyone tell me why i get this message.

Theoritically, Garmin Mobile XT can only be used with Garmin GPS receiver. You need to hack the program to use it with non-Garmin receiver.
