Sprint Touch on verizon -roaming and data issues

The cloning of the phone is causing ha & aaa authentication errors if it is turned on. Why don't you get the esn loaded in properly so this will stop happening instead of playing around with a clone and having data go in and out not to mention its illegal.

OK I will heed your advice. I called and they say I have to take it to a store to have them 'look' at it. Regardless if I know more about the device then them. Does this mean I failed at having them add it over the phone and will have to complete a non vzw device activation form and ship it in for approval? I really don't want to be without a phone for a few weeks. I might have an old junkier around to use. Should I try again? I told the first guy it was an alltel device and the second guy asked if it was a sprint device and I said yes. Was this where I went wrong? Thanks again.

I've added sprint before with some hassle but altell is much easier to get on so you should always have an "altell" phone when you call in as a sprint phone will not OTA program without a msl unlock and reset to all 0's like verizon and altell and some techs will refuse sprint period due to this. Lets hope they didn't notate that on your account or you may have to mail your phone to the DEC.

Talked to 3 different people that said it can't be done. I was as persistent as I could be without making them mad. I am going to keep calling. I wish I knew someone in the support department that could help. I refuse to send my device in for a min of 3 weeks. Sucks I flashed the newer ROM and lost the data. Oh well guess I will have to cancel it. Its a shame because the Touch isn't much without the data.

This is written for sprint but use these programs to read the HA & AAA secret from your i730 (not sure about compatabilty with i730 but put it in pass-through modem mode think its **upath on wm5 i730 or **path on wm2003 i730) You need both the ha & aaa for vzw. Else you could get data work again from a dmu reset they use qxdm to read and copy your ha & aaa so you can rewrite after flash. However this shouldn't be necessary unless you turned to i730 on or changed radios.

i always had the roaming triangle when i put a sprint vogue on verizon... couldnt be helped no matter what i did and i tried a lot. Never got billed for roaming though.

buddhatikkigod, looks like right now i'm exactly in the same problem that you are...

however, i know that you can fix the roaming triangle very easy just by using a modified prl so it can work well with the sprint PRI that your pro has right now. There's thread where here in the forum where you can find this PRL. if you don't find it, just tell me.

So, you had the data working one day?... how did you get the DMU keys?.... everywhere people mentions this keys (and upload them) they erase the link to download them. I'm looking for those keys :

P.D. ok, i cloned an old LG VX8300... you did it with a windows mobile phone. Do you really think there's no possibility to make this work?
