I'm using Ghetto's v7 REV A/GPS rom, alltel 3.37 radio rom, and all I've installed was tomtom and astrolauncher to test out GPS.

It seems when I run tomtom when gps is not working I can call in and call out but when I use astrolauncher and run tomtom and actually get a lock on gps, I'm no longer able to call into my phone. I can still call out but no one can call in.

I even tried this with google maps and same result. If I'm not using gps, I can call in but once I select use gps in google maps, I can no longer call in.

When gps viewer is on, no incoming calls can connect.

I never noticed this before until I didnt get some calls so I started testing. I've flashed with other roms before but never tested it so I don't know if it's a rom issue or possibly a radio issue.

I never had this before I flashed to the new alltel radio and new REV A/GPS roms.

Anyone know what is wrong or have had this happened?
I think it is Ghetto's ROM and not the radio ROM. Reason I say this is because I'm having the same problems, but with the 335 Radio ROM. The only common denominator between your setup and mine is Ghetto's ROM.

I've since moved to the 337 Radio and Mustang's ROM and everything seems to work.

BTW, I've read further up that you've tried Tomtom and Garmin... which do you prefer and why?

Thanks.

Ditto. I'm on Ghetto's ROM with 3.35 radio and having this exact same issue.

Yes, it seems to be ghetto's rom. I've never flashed to the 3.35 radio, only stayed with the 3.37 alltel radio. I'm now on jd's test rom and it seems to be working fine. I don't know if I'll be flashing any time soon since I've been doing that too many times since REV A/GPS came out, maybe when the offical update comes out or some really nice rom that works comes or I learn to make my own.

I used Tomtom before all the new rev a/gps roms came out and liked it. It was simple to use. I didn't like the fact that it doesn't fully recognize the addresses in my contacts so I have to manually add what it thinks it is but no big problems there since it does partially recognize it. With Garmin, I didn't have to do anything and it recognizes my contact's addresses. But one thing I noticed with Garmin is that it enters something into the contacts that I've used, I didn't like that so much.

Garmin does look a lot nicer but with the whole changing my date/time thing I may not use it much. I hate having to re-update my time. It seems to also change other things on my phone such as my ringtone. Who knows what else it does.
