Develop some balls and say No.

Any rom which flashes boot splash will overwrite it. A lot of roms don't flash any splash at all.

I have the same problem.. For those who say: "flash a different rom"... They are wrong.. Because I did just about the same as you and the Dam Swedish Chef still greets me after every reset...
Call me old fashion but I like my phone to look somewhat professional...
I don't want to re-flash again since I've got everything running just great... But wanted to know if that link worked for you..?

Not to be an a55 too but if you searched and looked at some of the available options instead of creating a brand new post on this, guru wouldn't be so grumpy! He has earned his screenname and doesn't mind demoralizing a few b00ns. I know he put me in my place earlier w/ his kitchen lol

A lot of the new people here are wanting the info spoon-fed to them.

Yes It did work for me.. but it resets your phone to the defaults of the ROM you have loaded.. so just make sure that you make a backup of your settings before you run the removal file

mrgreoff, I do agree with you.. maybe I would have found that link sooner or later.. but being new to this I dont understand all the lingo as of yet.. so I searched for what I could but i didnt find the answer I was looking for.. either way.. I belong to lots of different communities on the internet,, and at no time did I deserve a smart a55 answer like what he gave me. Personally I would have rathered him not even answered at all..

Thankfully other kind Users Like yourself led me in the right direction, and I do appreiciate it.

Best Regards.

I gave you multiple right answers, in both posts. Fundamentally, however, your statement of "I don't like it because then my friends want me to do things for them" speaks to a psychological problem my quip of "learn to say no" is the best answer for. Your friends will still like you if they are really friends. I didn't say it to be mean, I said it because you need to do it.

There is no way around the reset. It's a consequence of flashing.

...and it's not a removal - you can't remove it. You can only change it to something else.
