Re: Let's see who will be the first to cook the dimond rom for touch
this has been discussed 5,129.44 times already. search for Htc diamond or raphael using the search tab.
Noones gonna have a rom from it yet ,and even if we did, i doubt if the hardware we have can support it. |

Rouge? You mean Vogue?
Vogue is strictly a CDMA (Sprint/VZW) Touch the Touch Diamond has NOTHING to do with the current touch what so ever. The phone is not even out for a few more months on GSM overseas, and theres no way the ROM will be compatible with our Touch's hardware. Simply not going to happen |

Re: Let's see who will be the first to cook the dimond rom for touch
He probably meant stripping the UI from the diamond to use on our vogues. But
Success is right, our graphics hardware won't be able to handle the fancy schmancy Flo3D they've got going on the Diamond. Personally, I'm just waiting for the X1 to come CDMA-side. Then I can jump ship and say good riddens to HTC and their lack of driver support. |

You realize that the X1 is made by HTC right? Sony is just badging it.

Yes HTC makes the hardware, but Sony is responsible for software and support at that point. And honestly we really can't say anything too bad about the current crop of harware on HTC's phones.
