cant find satelites using various gps

I have a touch (vogue) and Ive tried using various roms using the tutorial to use gps, but none seem to work.

using gpstoday always gives 0 under satelites, and googlemaps keeps looking for a satelite but cant find any.

Am I doing something wrong? GPS would help so much for my area of work, if anyone can help that would be great.

have you also run the three unlocker files and the enable .cab? check out post 244 in this thread- http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread...=25335&page=25. Have you checked out the ppcgeeks kitchen? (www.ppckitchen.org, and search this site) With the kitchen you can create your own rom; I included the today plugin GPStoday, ran the three unlocker files and the .cab, and I finally find satellites and get locks as well.
