Touch vs Titan GPS and DATA

I just upgraded the wife's Touch to Alltel 3.37 and my custom cooked ROM. What I notice is that the GPS is much slower than my Titan to initialize and recieves many fewer sats. That said, the GPS does work. I'm using the alltel 3.37 on the Titan and the GPS rocks now. It is MUCH faster than 3.35. Who knows why. It initializes in about 20sec inside away from windows with about 8 sats. The Touch needs to be near a window to initialize and lock. Under open skys I only get 6 sats or so.

Second issue is more disturbing. I checked data rates. The Titan gets 1.5 mbps down while the Touch is about 450 kbps. Why the difference? It seems the Rev A is not fully Reved up on the Touch. Anyone else notice speed differences?

Well, for your first statement, when Alltel released the rom, it didn't have GPS included. Hard work and workarounds is what got us GPS. So maybe it hasn't been perfected yet by HTC. When the Mogul first got GPS, it wasn't the most effective either from what I've read but when Sprint released the official rom, all problems were solved. As far as Rev-A goes, not sure what to tell you there
