Touch camera settings

I love my Touch but one thing thats bothered me is that the camera is not that great. Its supposed to be 2mp but my 1.3 cam on my Centro took much better pics than the Touch. Especially indoors. I'm wondering if maybe im not using the right combination of settings to get decent pics. I'm not expecting digi cam or printable quality pics but the ones I take now are almost unusable unless its outside in bright sunlight. My current settings are on 2mp, superfine, with white balance on auto. Does anyone else get decent pics from the Touch? if so can you tell me what settings your using
