Re: HTC touch is a mother flippin POS

As a long time Pocket PC user (well before Win Mobile, etc and converged devices), most of the time when you have issues, suspect a piece of software you have installed. Maybe take a look at what's installed, and remove the programs 1 by 1 until you find the offending app. This was a major issue back in the day of the ipaq 36xx. Oh man, I'm dating myself with that.

Re: HTC touch is a mother flippin POS

I started off with one of these and 3 other people in my company got them as well. We all ended up switching to a mogul because of various issues. However, now that I have read and searched and read and searched, I am back with my Vogue. Works like a charm and even has capabilities that I couldn't get with the mogul. Don't get me wrong. Still love my Mogul. not saying the vogue is better. Just that both phones are excellent if you do your research

Re: HTC touch is a mother flippin POS

i often wonder about people who have problems with every electronic device they own.
Either they are incompetent.
They live in an area with many sunspots hitting them daily.
Their body is an electromagnetic field.

I am banking on the first one.

Re: HTC touch is a mother flippin POS

I'm using Cokeman's 2.31 unlocker, Sprint Leaked ROM (3.02) with the PPST.exe fix, with tons of apps loaded and my Vogue has never skipped a beat. I really liked my Mogul but I love my Touch

I really think that you must have a defective phone, and should promptly bring it back for an exchange. Either that or you are using an unstable ROM, but I am assuming you are using the original ROM?
