Video Player Questions

Now that the GPS and RevA are being us (Many thanks for everyone's work on this, this makes this Touch THE phone!), but now it would be awesome to get the video player issue fixed

I've TCMP 7.x running but chocking on files so can't really use it and CorePlayer 1.2.x is not displaying the video, only the audio comes out

Is the TCMP 8.1 better or is there a codec i need to install for CP? When can we expect a proper video driver?

Thanks for the heads up, the divx player works really well, unfortunately the beta doesn't allow you to play any movies but on the first 5 it founds

TCMP 0.72RC1 works great with the ffmpeg and wmadecoder plugins. Set the video driver to raw framebuffer.

A lot of my media is... um... "borrowed", so vids come in multiple formats. On my pc's, I've had much better luck using the K-lite codecs than anything that comes with Divx\VLC\WM...
I'm assuming that I cannot just install the standard K-lite codec pack directly onto my touch, so what's the fix?

Is there any way to play the DivX files... ? I am out of luck on one of the movies I have been trying to watch on touch and have to carry laptop around for that.. how uncool

I am able to find the ffmpeg but not wmadecoder. And how do I install it 'on' TCPMP ? Just run the cab file ?
I can hear the audio but no video

HI, I'M NOT A TECHNICALLY SAAVY PERSON AT ALL. CAN YOU TELL ME WHAT TO DO AFTER I DOWNLOAD THE ffmpeg & wmadecoder FILES? STEP BY STEP PLEASE, I DON'T CATCH ON THAT EASY.
