IE won't automatically start to dial #777

After the Sprint Touch sits for a while and hibernates, IE won't automatically start to dial the #777 and IE just hangs and says "locating" until an error box eventually pops up. After about 5 minutes of trying it eventually will dial #777 and start working OK. That is until the next time I want to wake it from hibernate. To try and fix this I've reloaded a stock rom and stock radio rom, but it still does the same thing. Icon at top of screen says EV and I have good signal. Any ideas? thanks
