IE won't automatically start to dial #777

After the Sprint Touch sits for a while and hibernates, IE won't automatically start to dial the #777 and IE just hangs and says "locating" until an error box eventually pops up. After about 5 minutes of trying it eventually will dial #777 and start working OK. That is until the next time I want to wake it from hibernate. To try and fix this I've reloaded a stock rom and stock radio rom, but it still does the same thing. Icon at top of screen says EV and I have good signal. Any ideas? thanks

Try reprovisioning internet settings. Phone/menu/options/settings/internet/get settings.

I did try IOTA several times before but that didn’t seem to help.

But I think I fixed it now.

Although I tried all kinds of reset methods including re-flashing the rom and radio rom,
the following reset method seems to have worked to fix the problem

Menu
Reset
Prompt for MSL
Enter MSL

This method resets MSID and the MDN. So I had to re-enter them.
##MyMSL#

Then I did IOTA again after reboot.

I wonder if my MDN or the MSID was entered wrong before? (in my case they are both the same #)
maybe that was the real problem.

Cool. That was the other suggestion I had if the first hadn't worked. I suppose you know a thing or two about the ## codes by now! It's a good post of a solution. Many thanks for all those that it can help.
