xv6900/touch with Titan 3.35 GPM Rom notes

Just thought I would share my experience with using the titan rom on the touch - I followed the posted directions for getting the titan rom on the touch and they worked great.

One thing I noticed about the GPS is when I first tried the gps viewer it seems like it wasn't finding a lock - and assuming you have the location turned on in the phone settings as mentioned in other posts it took mine over an hour to get a fix. Instead of watching it I suggest you tun on the GPS viewer app or Google maps and go eat dinner. Everything takes longer when you stare at it

Once it got the fix it was MUCH quicker, even after flashing another ROM and rebooting - it seems like it needs to "find" you the first time and after that it stores that information somewhere that's not erased by a rom flash or reboot.

Now that the gps knows where I am I don't need to use all the tools that other people mention having to use to "get it going". I can just reboot my phone and start Google maps and within a few minutes it will have a fix on me.
