Vogue Sprint with GPS, Google maps blued out

I have followed each and every step in many threads to see if I can see GPS working on my HTC touch with Sprint n/w
I have tried on many ROMs already.

Whenever I open up google maps and "use gps", it does display a dark blue flashing dot on the screen, however the whole maps is blued out. It just hangs here. finally the message your gps receiver has trouble tracking satellites.
Is anyone having a similar problem ?

I am subscribed to the 39$ plan a month and 15$ power vision access pack for sprint, if it helps.

Zoom out and you'll notice the GPS has basically put you on the center of the map next to Nigeria. It does this when it doesn't have a lock. I'm quite used to it. Everything is working right you're just having the problem locking onto GPS that everyone else is.

Hey, thanks for the quick reply. Glad to hear that the things seem to be right. I have taken numerous walks outside in fresh air under the sky to see if the device locks on to the satellites.

But it just doesnt. I am located in San Francisco downtown, I am sure they have GPS coverage here, right ? How much time should I wait for the locks to obtain ?!

For the first time atleast 10 min... It only took me about two or three but i kinda got lucky
