Internet sharing ?

I barely ever have signal where I live and I use to be able to acess the internet on my Touch using my PC's internet connection by using active sync.

Somewhere along the road I think I might have disabled it someway because I have not been able to do it anymore.

I did reinstall activesync and checked the box that indicates advance network something. I dont remember exactly what its called but still no connection. The phone keeps trying to connect via sprint.

Any Ideas ? or a link to a thread where its been disccused ?

I don't believe Internet Sharing uses Activesync at all. Whenever I activate IS on my Touch, it disconnects AS and I have to unplug/plug the phone back in for it to connect via a network connection. AS is not even active at this point.

Yes but I believe that you need to make an initial connection to your phone with ActiveSync. I tried this on a pc with out it and had no luck.

So your trying to use ur PC internet connection through your touch correct? Not ur touch internet through your PC? If that's the case unplug from your computer and delete the device in active sync... then plug the phone in and re-setup sync...i think that should fix it

Also make sure where it says "This computer is connected to- Automatic"
