Angry Verizon GPS Blank Data

Ok I've been through four roms today and both radio's and yesterday the Alltel rom with all the mods. With GPS viewer open I'm recieving data just no corrdinants. Its scrolling forever:

$GPGSV,1,1,0
$GPGGA,,,,,,0,,,,,,,
$GPRMC,,V,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
$GPGSA,A,1,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

I've done soft reboots never let it suspend, drove around, left it outside for 30 minutes, GPS Kickstart, still the same all the time. I've looked through everything and tried every suggestion in the threads.. I may of missed something but I think I covered everything. Any suggestions would be great!

Thumbs up Re: Verizon GPS Blank Data

1. Goto Dialer Pad
2. Press Menu
3. Goto Options
4. Goto Services
5. Select Location Settings
6. Press Get Settings
7. Select ON
8. Press OK

I had mine working for 2 days then upgraded a rom and somehow that setting got turned off. Drove me crazy... Tried all different radios and roms. Then it dawned on me that I read somewhere that setting must be turned on.

Good Luck!

Im using verizons VX6900... guess you are too since in HTC Vogue boards?

btw How is GPS for you? I am using JD's Hybrid GPS rom, and its been alright. best out of all i tried so far. still id like under 1m locks every time. def not getting that. sometimes 10m. sometimes i tell myself i should softreset, and get quicker locks afterwards.

and if u got unlimited data plan: What kinda speeds you getting surfing internet? i tethered my modem today and went to http://speedtest.net/ and posted my results in that 'Post your Rev. A Speeds' thread. Mine stunk it up hehe.
EDIT: read this a couple times in a thread: "and just a heads up...: the 6900 out of the box is EVDO-A capable, Verizon just has not activated their network yet. Give it 2-3 months and Rev-A should be up online."
