Gps ??

hey i followed the FAQ for revision A and GPS, but for some apparent reason my gps still dont work. I have garmin, and i dont know if you need a primer or if garmin will do it for me because, on my mogul, garmin automatically turns it on. Any help please. Thanks.

if you are talking about using an external gps antenna on your Touch then there's several issues and posts about this. I have yet to find a solution

so far this is what I've figured out. The internal gps works like the external use to. Set the app calle
External gps to comm 4, hardware to none and windows management on. run gps viewer to prime it with a lock. then your program should work using the default windows settings. getting the lock is the hard part.

to use an external puck, ignore the External gps app comp
etely. pair the puck and set a port in the bt app to anything but comm 4. Then in the program manually set it to read the device port at 4800 baud. and boom it works and in my experience gets a lock much much faster.
