Sprint Customizations: Slowing Speeds?

Today I installed the Cokeman Unlocker with the JD GPS 2.1 rom as outlined in that amazing tutorial

When I first had everything installed I was getting speeds at least 1200 k/s on Sprint in Orlando, FL.

Then I realized that my Send/End keys weren't working. After using the trusty search function I found the SprintCustomizations.zip and gleefully installed all 3 cabs within.

My send/end keys work now and I notice the phone is back to dialing #777 when it connects to the internet.

However, my speeds are in the toilet! Between 200-400 k/s. Coincidence? Or did those customizations cripple me? I am most distressed!

Edit: I just tested again and I'm getting 1,700 k/s. I'm an idiot. False alarm

Re: Sprint Customizations: Slowing Speeds?

That's interesting I loaded alltel ROM and then JD's ROM and I didnt notice my send and end keys not functioning. Will it hurt to load the sprint customizations in my case?
