I'm thinking DCD's rom didn't have a majority of that. That was something I liked about his rom, NO HTC HOME.

That does sound like a good plan but rather then do all the work to find particular apps that chefs obviously have already in their ROMS.. its easier to find a way to customize that. Its just my opinion but I find it pretty difficult to find apps on hand that I found find in alot of ROMS. Its really hard to be completely happy with a clean ROM unless of course you know exactly what you want.

You should just download the ppckitchen and go from there.
