If you have BT file explorer on that will mess up TomTom finding the maps
Voices = Storage Card\Voices\
Maps = Storage Card\My Documents\Map Name\
Try those locations

Re: TOMTOM nav 6 -- Question for those who have used it

I have the whole USA + Canada Map and yea, it's 890 Mb's. You can go single county but I believe you have to pay extra for that. I just stuffed everything into my 4gig sdcard which I picked up for $30, not too bad.

Re: TOMTOM nav 6 -- Question for those who have used it

Another thing, if you installed everything onto the SD card, and don't like how it clutters up your sd card files, you can move all the files and folders into the /program files/navigator folder on the phone, EXCEPT for the 2577 and Maps folder (leave these on the sdcard). Everything will still load fine as if you didn't move a thing. It helps keep my sd card more organized.

Got it to work. I just dumped it into the directory you specified. Don't create sub directories.

Thank You

you don't need the whole country , you can get only the state map only too. those are only like 100 megs only.
