Re: Any luck for Bell Mobility user with the new Alltell rom

This may be a dumb question but would Bell know that your phones are using Rev A to access the internet and start charging you accordingly (even though you are on the $7 unlimited plan)?

Re: Any luck for Bell Mobility user with the new Alltell rom

If you cannot connect to the internet and you're already on JDs rom, then that means you have to follow the sticky to revert back to your shipped settings. (Install the old unlocker, install original ROM)

I have a Bell phone and I originally screwed up because I forgot to soft reset when I was supposed to when installing the Alltell rom. I then continued to install the JD 6.1 rom and it still wouldn't work. Another sign that it doesn't work is if you press the power button, it goes to sleep mode and you fcan't power it back on. However, it is working now because I went back to my original settings, started over again, and made sure I didn't miss that soft reset.

Hope this helps.

Re: Any luck for Bell Mobility user with the new Alltell rom

Gee, now I'm really stumped. I'm searching but still can't find a way to connect to the internet. I'll try reverting to my OEM Bell ROM first.

I still cannot connect to the internet.
I have 16420/65535 for Home SID/NID #1
Did you know you can enter ##778 SEND to get at all your settings. Be careful here these settings might be unaffected by rom changes so if you screw up here you're really screwed.
However there may be something in these settings causing your internet problems.
