You need to flash a V.3 ROM; a ROM with GPS and Rev.A support enabled or built in.

ftp://up.ppcgeeks.com/Vogue/Users/OM...S.Sprintv2.exe

This is a ROM that OMJ Built ... or you are trying to use PPCKitchen, download the GPS (19209) updates (updater in the PPCKitchen programs folder) and then run BuildOS (again?) using that selections file.
Thank you very much, I was trying to use PPCKitchen and i selected the wrong selections file thing. Appreciate everything

Re: Vogue/Touch Kitchen (GPS & No GPS versions)

OK - 1st time using the BuildOS app. Pretty nice.

If my banker(wife) will allow me I will donte this weekend

I started off with JD's hack when it 1st came out - GPS worked...was flakey but worked. Verified RevA speeds ....

Read that JD came out with another using the Titan Radio w/ better performance......Didn t see much differance, but did not like the XP theme.

Then I tried Getto's but no GPS, even after waitng 10+ min using Google Maps.

Then I saw that a new kitchen was released so I jumped for it.

NICE PROGRAM!!!!

I have three Touch phones......I like it!!

Alas no GPS after 10+ min

ROM 3.37.NO2.200
RADIO 3.35.04

the no2chem 19209 rom....

did I miss anything?

Thanks in Advance

yea i noticed i had theat checked, didnt meen to.

another problem has arrived tho. i want the generic touch keypad with predictive t9 text. when i check "HTC Keyboard - HP" in buildOS, it only comes out as the actual keyboard, not with 2 letters in each box. now i downloaded a working OEM a while ago and fixed the t9 setting so it would save words. when i tried to add that to buildOS under User OEMS folder, it will install BUT... it doesnt have the little black bar above the keyboard, instead it is a large white bar (i believe like the touch duo if im not mistakin) am i forgetting to check something?

Re: Vogue/Touch Kitchen (GPS & No GPS versions)

It's because the keyboard in PPCGeeks_OEM does not use the touch word completion. That part will not work on other devices. The next kitchen update will include a working version for Vogue.

Re: Vogue/Touch Kitchen (GPS & No GPS versions)

Just as the kitchen was for the apache, it's awesome for the vogue.
Two questions - Do I need .net framework? I'm wondering since the box won't check, while that for the "exceptions" will. Second - I finally got the startup animation going (I'd screwed up a registry setting); is there a setting that you can change to adjust how long the animation plays?

Re: Vogue/Touch Kitchen (GPS & No GPS versions)

If .Net Framework is orange and not checkable, something else already needs it and it's being built in for you.

As for animation time, i don't think so. It plays through the full animation once so it depends on the length of the animation.
