The bar is on your PPC?

It may be something like vistahide battery gague or lvm topbat.

if you have sktools, go to WIndows Startup and disable or delete Vistahide Battery Gauge.lnk; otherwise, go to Windows directory and delete the shortcut.

Re: Vogue/Touch Kitchen (GPS & No GPS versions)

I've tried flashing twice now; each time it gets stuck in the second splash screen. With first cooked rom I included startup animation; second time I took it out - each time it gets stuck where the startup animation would be. Anyone have any idea what I've done wrong?

Re: Vogue/Touch Kitchen (GPS & No GPS versions)

Looks like the software tries to send data over a port that is blocked at my office.

If you haven't already, you might consider adding to your post and confirm the spl / boot loader you are running, the radio version and the rom version.

spl / bootloader is camera+power+reset (tri color screen)
radio and rom are on the bottom in red, when the phone first boots up

P DCXAAM-4350H
R n.nn.nn <--- Radio
D n.nn <--- Rom

you can also manually download the files.....instead of downloading via buildOS.

I've been a long time member, mostly just checking out what everyone does on here, because unfortunately I'm smart enough to contribute much myself (lol), but I'm having the same exact problem, i have the 2.31 bootloader. The radio version is 3.37.10 and the rom version is 1.12. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

What appears to have happened, is that you flashed a non V.3 ROM to your phone.

In this case, the ROM is not compatible with the Radio, so the phone will not boot.

You need to flash a V.3 ROM; a ROM with GPS and Rev.A support enabled or built in.

ftp://up.ppcgeeks.com/Vogue/Users/OM...S.Sprintv2.exe

This is a ROM that OMJ Built ... or you are trying to use PPCKitchen, download the GPS (19209) updates (updater in the PPCKitchen programs folder) and then run BuildOS (again?) using that selections file.
