Keyboard entry problem

I am having a problem that I have encountered before, and I was hoping that someone here could help me out. I am using the Resco keyboard on my xv6900 with stock rom. When I go on certain web sites (my bank is one of them) I need to type in my username and password. I type it in using the Resco keyboard and I do see that it comes out in the boxes. The website then treats it as though I have not typed anything. I have also tried the stock keyboards for the Touch with the same results.

Weird
