xv6900 email not auto checking

i have an issue with mail on my htc xv96900. i have imap setup on gmail and i have the phone set to check every 5 minutes, but doesn't seem to check email. my mail icon on the home screen shows 0 messages, but if i run the send/receive manually they come in. the phone is stock w/ windows mobile 6.

can some one help?

mine does the same thing and im running OMJ v7 on my sprint touch

Just use mobipush.com. way better anyway.
