Re: bluetooth question...

I have a Jawbone. I am generally satisfied with it. My only complaint is that the volume, even at the highest setting, is poor. It can be difficult to hear people when in an environment with moderate to high noise. This is in contrast to headsets that have gel inserts for the ear canal, which generally perform better in noisy environments.

Re: bluetooth question...

The noise cancellation does work pretty well. The only thing it does not handle is wind, but what headset does? People can hear you pretty damn well, but the quality back to you in your ear could be a bit better but it is no worse than any other quality BT headset.

Re: bluetooth question...

i'm using the Blueant Z9 with version 3.4 firmware (the device is upgradable) and it's PLENTY loud with my Sprint Touch and the Verizon Touch (when I was using/testing it). i felt the Z9 was better than the Jawbone from a loudness/clarity perspective; could be my ears though.

Re: bluetooth question...

I have the Z9 as well and am very satisfied with its performance (I also did the upgrade to 3.4 - dead simple to do - I really like the fact that it is upgradeable).
