Thicker Signal Bars from XV6900 on Sprint Touch?

A petty, small difference, I know. But I much rather prefer the look of the thicker signal bars on the XV6900 to the thinner ones on the Sprint Touch. Is there any way to take the XV6900 signal bars and put them on the Sprint Touch? I recall owning a device I while ago, I have no idea which, that had the two different types possible. I don't remember how it was done, or even which device to search for it though. I attached a photo of exactly what I'm talking about if the post didn't make any sense.

Yeah...I want thicker bars too...
All my life as a Sprint Touch owner I have dealt with Small Signal Bar Syndrome or S.S.B.S.
Its embarrassing to have a pretty girl barrow you phone for a quick call and have her notice you Small Bars. No longer will Small Signal Bars keep me down...STAND UP AND YELL FOR LARGE SIGNAL BARS FOR ALL SPRINT USERS!!!

S.S.B.S....Does that lead to buying a bigger TV and driving a sports car you cant afford. But hey the car makes ya look good so hat the h*ll. And the TV is nice your afraid to let anyone over cause you think someone may jack your candy @$$ for the damn thing, LOL.

I know where you are coming from. Sometimes these bars are hard to see.

Actually I think that is what is holding up the Sprint Touch GPS/RevA Rom. They are having issues with the signal bars

If you're willing to flash ROMs, you can use Ghettofreeryder's WM6.1 Touch ROM....it has the thicker signal bars:

Thank you for the HELPFUL info mindfrost82. It's really not something I'd flash a rom over, but something that I'd be willing to do a little hack for. I wonder what was done different to that ROM to cause the larger signal bars.

signal bars are built straight into the os as far as ive seen flashing might be your only option

thats the Radio... you can find the radio and flash it to your touch

Thanks for the info. Not a huge deal, just something I was curious about. I'm reviewing the XV6900, and am trying to find all the differences between it and the Sprint version, and that was one of the things I noticed.
