Belt clip tries to power-off?

Anyone else have the Verizon belt clip for the 6900? If so, does it cause the power button to be depressed so that the unit prompts you for shutdown? It looks like they tried to make a cut-out where the clip goes over the power button, but it doesn't seem to help mine. I hate to try to mod it because then they might give me crap if I try to return it. On the other hand, I'm not sure if I can try to take it to a Verizon store yet either since they are not selling them yet.
