wakes up every 30 seconds

Just got my Touch on Thursday. I only added Email. About every 30 seconds or so the the screen wakes up. I push the power button to sleep, then 30 seconds later Hello. Battery life is about 4 hours, I have looked at all the settings I can find, I can't tell what program is causing the wakeup. I deleted Gmail, On Demand, closed everything in launcher, Hard Reset, Soft Reset. Any ideas??

I have the same issue, but I believe I created it myself. I was reading through the posts about various missed calls, so I did as many instructed about today time-out ect. I believe that the screen waking up every 30 seconds is due to the unchecking of the boxes under the settings->system->power->advanced which was supposed to solve the missed calls while sleeping. If you recheck the "On battery power" selection, I believe this will remedy the problem.
