Mail & Txt button on Home screen NOT WORKING!!! HELP

Everything was working fine till yesterday.

WEIRD stuff happening and I do not want to hard reset again since this is my 2nd Touch....

1st- Live search was working for a day and then after it wont start due to an error
2nd - Followed by error on cube editor, again, won't start due to an error
3rd - Touch keyboard became number only, can't make it change to letter mode
4th - now mail & txt button on home screen isn't working. When I press it, the box highlights but nothing triggers. Everything else is working except those two buttons.

Help...........?

I dont think there is much anyone can offer, but to try a hard reset to see if its all better. This will let you know if its an app or some bad configuration cause it.,

Delete the outlook folders (one says inbox with a bunch of characters) on your storage card. The reason why they don't open, is because you are saving email attachments to your storage card, and sometimes the outlook folders get corrupted.
